MALLORCA, Nov 19 (SW) - A pair of goals by Eidur Gudjohnsen lifted Barcelona to a convincing 4-1 victory over Mallorca on Sunday to reclaim top spot in La Liga from Sevilla.

Despite the immense striker shortage for Barcelona, Gudjohnsen has adequately filled the shoes so far, and today was no different as he snatched momentum for the Catalans with a goal in the 41st minute to send them to the break in front.

When the second half restarted, it was all attack for the visitors and Gudjohnsen struck again on 58 minutes to make it 2-0 for his second of the game, but this time they were pegged back when Víctor scored with 20 minutes left for Mallorca.

But Andrés Iniesta put the match out of reach for Frank Rijkaard's side with five minutes to play as he made it 3-1, and Santi Ezquerro added a fourth for insurance late on.
