(17.11 Milwauk.) Forward Charlie Villanueva will out of action for four to six weeks because of a torn ligament in his left elbow. The 22-year-old was hurt during the Milwaukee Bucks' 103-101 victory over Atlanta on Tuesday. Villanueva has averaged 14.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists in eight games this campaign.

(16.11 Clevela.) Guard Larry Hughes is expected to miss at least two games after spraining his right ankle in Wednesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. He will sit out Friday's home game against Minnesota and a road game at Washington on Saturday. Hughes is averaging 13.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.

(15.11 Denver) Forward Kenyon Martin underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and is expected to miss the rest of the season. The operation revealed the injury was more serious than originally thought. Martin said he had no idea how or when he hurt his knee but was hoping to miss only one or two months. He played in two games this season, averaging 9.5 points and 10 rebounds.
