VILLARREAL, Nov 22 (Sw) Villarreal forward Nihat Kahveci won't see action for seven months due to torn knee ligaments.

The 26-year-old collided with teammate Javi Venta in training, and awkward leg movement left the Turkish international lying on the pitch.

Nihat is the third long-term absentee for Villarreal, as Robert Pires and Gonzalo Rodriguez also out with similar hurts.
