LONDON, Nov 21 (SW) – Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that his central defender William Gallas will be out for a weeks.
The Frenchman picked up a thigh injury at the end of yesterday’s practice as they were preparing for tonight’s home Group G Champions League match against Hamburg SV.
Wenger added that the defender is an integral part of his defence as he stabilizes the back.
One of Wenger’s Swiss internationals Johan Djourou or Philippe Senderos could replace him.
