BUENOS AIRES, Nov 19 (SW) – River Plate chairman Jose Maria Aguilar has insisted that Gonzalo Higuain's move away from the club to Real Madrid is definitely not a certainty.
Higuain had already publicly announced his desire to play for Madrid and his father had revealed that a €10 million bid was made for his son by the Spanish club.
"[An agreement with Real] is not close to happening, we have received bigger offers for the player than that of Real Madrid," announced Jose Maria Aguilar.
