FC Twente earn draw at Ajax

AMSTERDAM, Nov 19 (SW) - Ajax Amsterdam again failed to win at their own Arena, being held to a draw by FC Twente.

Orlando Engelaar opened the score for the visiting side after only eight minutes, but Wesley Sneijder levelled three minutes into the second half.

Last week, Ajax lost their home match against PSV Eindhoven and allowed the reigning champions to take the lead in the Eredivisie.

Due to the 1-1 result on Sunday and PSV's 4-0 win over Excelsior Rotterdam on Saturday, the difference between the two teams has grown to three points.
